Founded in 2004 with a simple yet meaningful vision, Guiding Steps College has grown from a small early learning centre into a modern international institution delivering the Pearson Edexcel curriculum in Battaramulla, Sri Lanka.

From a small beginning to an international learning community
What began as a small early learning centre in Sri Lanka has steadily evolved into a modern educational institution offering internationally recognised academic pathways through the Pearson Edexcel curriculum. Over the years, the College has earned the trust of families through its commitment to academic quality, individualised attention and holistic student development.

Founded upon the remarkable courage and unwavering faith demonstrated by Abraham, who trusted God wholeheartedly and stepped into the unknown with confidence and obedience — courageous leadership rooted in trust, determination and unwavering conviction.
The bold red flag carries the majestic Roaring Lion — a timeless symbol of bravery, strength, authority and fearless leadership. Just as a lion leads with confidence and protects its pride, members of Abraham House demonstrate integrity, resilience and boldness while remaining humble servants of others.

We are proud to be a Pearson approved centre offering the internationally recognised Pearson Edexcel curriculum from Early Years onwards through iPrimary, iLower Secondary and up to IGCSE, with exciting plans to expand into International Advanced Level (IAL) qualifications in the years ahead.
